Dear experts,
In one of my clients, when they post some FI documents, from MIR7, ML81N, F-02 and F110, for few documents in random, posting period is different from posting date. We suspect that posting period is derived from document date instead of Posting date. But, it is now true always.
If we post one document now, it is posting correctly. But, out or say, 350 odd documents posted since 29th Nov, system posted some 10 wrong entries.
Some cases are when provision entries are posted on 30th Nov 2013 as posting date, system posted the posting period as 10. ( The client is following calendar year as the fiscal year ( K4)
Some cases, where some advance to some employee ( Vendor) F110 is posted on 2nd Dec 2013, system saved the document as posting date 11 ( Nov) and posting period as 2nd Dec 2013.
Is there any known reason for this strange behavior.
The man issue is that we could not replicate the error in production or quality system.
Any answers. Any know reason .....?
