Hi,

For example you have following master data in Entity and Category and these 2 dimensions are secured dimensions in one of the model.

Entity

10

20

30

Category

ACTUAL

BUDGET

When you create Member access profile to provide access to users you have to give access for at least one member for both the dimensions.

Example 1 : If you provide access for Entity 10 and Category ACTUAL.

Then user with this member access profile can Read/Write data belongs to records with combination of 10 and ACTUAL. Data belongs to other members like 20,30 and BUDGET will not be accessed by this user.

For more details on how access profiles will work please check documentation.

Hope it helps..

regards,

Raju
