Hello,

I have some problems with an EHP7 upgrade in downtime phase MAIN_NEWBAS/JOB_RSUPGCUA_PROD. The step comes to no end and in the log file you can only see this:

bash-4.1$ cat PSUPGCUA.LOG

1 ETQ201 Entering upgrade-phase "MAIN_NEWBAS/JOB_RSUPGCUA_PROD" ("20141013201000")

2 ETQ367 Connect variables are set for standard instance access

4 ETQ399 System-nr = '01', GwService = 'sapgw01' Client = '000'

4 ETQ399 Environment variables:

4 ETQ399   dbs_db6_schema=sapr3

4 ETQ399   auth_shadow_upgrade=<null>

1 ETQ200 Executing actual phase 'MAIN_NEWBAS/JOB_RSUPGCUA_PROD'.

1 ETQ399 Phase arguments:

2 ETQ399 Arg[0] = 'RSUPGCUAGEN111'

2 ETQ399 Arg[1] = ''

2 ETQ399 Arg[2] = 'NO-IGNORE'

2 ETQ399 Arg[3] = 'RSUPGCUAGEN111\.$(SAPSID)'

2 ETQ399 Arg[4] = '5'

2 ETQ399 Arg[5] = 'CUA GEN'

1 ETQ399 Using error summary log 'PSUPGCUA.ELG'.

1 ETQ399 Expanded phase arguments:

2 ETQ399 Arg[3] = 'RSUPGCUAGEN111\.SBX'

4 ETQ260 Starting batchjob "RSUPGCUAGEN111"

1 ETQ359 RFC Login to: System="SBX", AsHost="sapsbx" Nr="01", GwHost="sapsbx", GwService="sapgw01"

2 ETQ232 RFC Login succeeded

4 ETQ010 Date & Time: 20141013201002

1 ETQ233 Calling function module "SUBST_START_BATCHJOB" by RFC

2 ETQ373 parameter "BATCHHOST" = "sapsbx"

2 ETQ373 parameter "JOBNAME" = "RSUPGCUAGEN111"

2 ETQ373 parameter "REPNAME" = "RSUPGCUAGEN111"

2 ETQ373 parameter "VARNAME" = ""

2 ETQ373 parameter "IV_SCHEDEVER" = " "

2 ETQ373 parameter "BATCHINSTANCE" = ""

I can connect to production instance with DDIC user in client 000 and can see in SM50 that the wp´s are waiting for enqueue-server. With ps -ef I cannot find any en.sap-process for the prod-instance. There is only an enqueue-process for the shadow instance!

Thank for any helpful answers!

Regards, Karlheinz
