Hi Experts,
Could you please let me know few reports(Transaction/Master data) in Sales and Distribution where I can find any of/all the below criteria. I will start with R/3 and move on to BW.
1. SD reports with data extracted by standard data sources from R/3 which has enhanced structures (By data source enhancements - Customer Exits).
2. Routines implemented at info package level (either for data selection or for Extraction).
3. Routines implemented at Transformation level. Let it be any of the routines (Start/End/Field) or Expert. It would be great if the report has both start and end routine in it.
4. Report with input value variables (any mode is fine, but please send me few reports which has user exit implemented)
I am sorry if my above question has confused you guys.
To reiterate, I was looking for few Sales and Distribution reports which has all the above points implemented but I've failed to identify even after thorough search in all the forums.
I basically need info on questions given below which are the elements involved in creating the reports to clients and with above mentioned criteria in the process of creation. I will be crazily surprised and happy if i get at least couple of reports which has ALL the above 4 points in it.
- What is the business scenario?
- What are the data sources involved?
- Does the data source enhanced? if yes, what are the fields added?
- What applications tables are involved?
- Does the data sources involved support delta?
- What are the different update modes (Init/Delta or Only full)?
- I am sure any report will involve extraction from both transactional tables and Master data tables. If yes, can you please also let me know what are the master data tables involved.
- Does it have Write optimized DSO in the data flow?
- How many Standard DSO are involved?
- How many Infocubes are involved?
- Do we have any complex logic implemented in process chains?
- What are the characteristics and Key Figures in the report
- Do we have any navigational attributes?
- Any other complex logic involved in report.
- Any user exits involved in the reports.
I know its lengthy and I would have asked a technical specs instead. Sorry, I am not aware how to put up a question because there is a lot going on in my mind right now.
