I am taking first steps with Calculated Members in Crystal 2011 and needed some guidance.
From the above shot, you can see three date column and a grand total. What I need to do is insert a new column which essentially gives a percentage based from the SUM of each row / the total of row 0.
For example, the percentage of Total Hospital Deliveries will be the (SUM of (452, 460, 471) / 1414) *100 = 97.8%.
This needs to be continued down the cross tab for all fields.
The report is run automatically and updates month on month so I need this formula to adapt - next month it will feature data for 07/2014 for example and I don't want to have to manually amend it if possible.
You can probably point out that the sum of some rows is greater that row 0 (i.e. total births) - I need to potentially adapt the source of the denominator for the % calculation per row.
Any thoughts on how to do this? I have struggled to find how to SUM a row which is my biggest headache.
