General Plant Data Batch Management Gets Automatically Enabled

Hello,

I'd like to ask if there's a standard configuration somewhere that might have caused this one. 

Batch Management is Plant Level

Valuation is Plant level

Plants A & B are enabled for Batch Status Management

Scenario 1:

Material is batch managed at Plant A, then I extend this to Plant B and I didn't enable Batch Management in General Plant Data. Upon saving, when I check this material via MM03, it shows that the Batch Management flag is ticked.

Scenario 2:

Material is not batch managed at Plant A, then I extend this to Plant B and I didn't enable batch management in general plant data. Upon saving, batch management is not ticked when I check this material via MM03.

If ever this is an enhancement, may I know how it's done? Or just refer me to a link somewhere.
