Hi gurus,
In the project I am involved to, source system is SAP ECC and I am requested to construct a real time report from business side. The point is that Basis responsible is not at the side of that BO connection directly to SAP tables is good. He is basing his idea on the fact that if Microsoft SQL is the database vendor behind SAP, then SAP would no longer support the project after any corruption, unfavorable event due to ECC-BO connection. Has anyone experienced such thing, heard anything, have any info regarding the topic?
Any what might be the best practices in order to base ECC on WebI?
I have encountered with such methods: ABAP function table, direct table connection, I am in need of the material in the way of achieving such thema.
