Hi Raj,
As most of people answered multiple options for this behavior, i am making one more attempt to support your scenario run. Below details may helps you,
1. Check for the material you are trying to look basic date scheduling, have you maintained the lot size independent in house production time in material master view.
If yes, then the system takes this time for basic date scheduling.
2. If you have not maintained lot size independent information, then if you have maintained lot size dependent or in house production time, and GR processing times in MRP views then these days will sum up to 2 months, then this could be the reason.
3. If above cases are not true, then check scheduling type you are using and based on that, many people already informed you to check scheduling settings in config. And as you replied, your basic date scheduling "Adjust basic dates, adj dep. requirement to operation date" - so this option is nbot impacting your basic dates.
4. With basic date scheduling, the dependent requirement is derived from order start date of the planned order of the parent material, check if this is influencing your scenario.
5. Not maintaining operation times in routing will not influence basic date scheduling, standard times of routing will influence when you use lead time scheduling and helps you for capacity planning, basic date scheduling will not help for capacity planning.
Hope above points may help to resolve your issue, if not, need some more insight in the issue you mentioned, and if you are able to post the MD04 screen will help us.
Regards,
Sharat
